39 rounds of ammunition seized in St Ann

Lawmen assigned to the Discovery Bay police in St Ann seized 39 rounds of ammunition during an operation on Tuesday.

Reports are that about 11:45 p.m., a police team conducted an operation in the Discovery Bay area.

A search was conducted, and thirty-five 9mm and four 5.56mm cartridges were seized after they were found wrapped in a bag.

No one was arrested in relation to the seizure.

The investigation continues.
