Transport Minister Daryl Vaz says the use of all toll roads remains free of cost to the public following the passage of Hurricane Melissa.

Vaz addressed the matter in a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday afternoon.

He stated that unscrupulous persons have been attempting to charge at toll booths, which he has condemned.

He said he has asked the police to look into the matter.

Toll booths were opened to the public ahead of the passage of Hurricane Melissa, which hit Jamaica on Tuesday as a Category 5 storm.
