Pregnant 18-year-old among Hurricane Melissa deaths in Westmoreland

An eight month pregnant woman is among the dead in central Westmoreland following the passage Hurricane Melissa.
She has since been identified as 18-year-old Monique Coke.
Reports are that Coke, her mother and younger brother were in their two bedroom wooden house in Waterworks, Petersfield when it collapsed during the passage of the hurricane.
An official at the Savanna-La-Mar Public General Hospital told The Gleaner that the woman was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital on Wednesday.
Yesterday, the Government reported that the death toll from the storm rose to 19.
