74-year-old man killed in hit-and-run in St Ann

Seventy-four-year-old Rohan Murray, a security guard of Charlestown, St Mary, died as a result of injuries he sustained in a hit-and-run on Development Road in Ocho Rios, St Ann on Monday.
Reports from the Ocho Rios police are that about 8:00 p.m., Murray was hit by a motor car as he attempted to cross the roadway.
The motor car did not stop.
Murray was assisted to the hospital, where he died while being treated.
As the investigation continues, the police are urging the driver of the motor car to turn himself in at the nearest police station immediately.
