Sections of Westmoreland under curfew

A curfew has been imposed in sections of the Westmoreland Police Division.

The curfew began at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10, and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12.

The boundaries of the curfew are:

South: From the Red Hills main road running in a westerly direction to the Toll Gate intersection.

West: From the Toll Gate intersection to the end of Ground Road in Townhead district.

North: From the end of Ground Road in Townhead district to the T-Junction at the Propect main road

and Bath Mountain main road.

East: from the T-Junction at the Propect main road running in a southerly direction to the T-Junction

at the Red Hills main road and Barham main road.

Persons are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
