Excelsior High are the 2025 ISSA/WATA Manning Cup champions
Excelsior High are the 2025 ISSA/WATA Manning Cup champions after defeating Jamaica College (JC) 2-0 in an intense thriller at the National Stadium earlier today.
Excelsior’s ever-reliable marksman Kimarly Scott opened the scoring in the 56th minute before Kivann Salmon sealed the result in the 90th+7 minute.
The victory confirms Excelsior’s eighth Manning Cup title and their first hold on the trophy in 21 years.
Earlier in the afternoon, St Catherine dethroned Mona High to lift the Walker Cup title in a 4-3 penalty win, after a 3-3 draw in regulation time.
