Occupant found dead as pickup truck recovered from river in St Elizabeth - JDF

A deceased occupant was recovered from a pickup truck that plunged into a river in Lacovia, St Elizabeth, the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) has confirmed.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
The vehicle was successfully retrieved with the assistance of divers from the Jamaica Defence Force Coast Guard, according to a post on the JDF’s Instagram page on Saturday.
The vehicle ran off the road on Friday but nightfall forced the suspension of search efforts.
No details have been provided on the circumstances surrounding the incident.
