US winter storm disrupts flights at Sangster International Airport in MoBay

Several flights in and out of Sangster International Airport (SIA) in Montego Bay, St James have been cancelled or delayed due to a winter storm affecting parts of the United States, airport operator MBJ Airports Limited has announced.

In a media statement on Saturday, MBJ Airports Limited said the disruptions will affect scheduled arriving and departing flights on Sunday, January 25, and Monday, January 26.

It said a number of flights operated by United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, and JetBlue Airways have been cancelled for Sunday.

These include United Airlines flights between Montego Bay and Newark; Delta flights to and from New York (JFK), Boston, and Atlanta; American Airlines flights to and from Charlotte and Philadelphia; and a JetBlue flight departing for New York (JFK).

MBJ Airports Limited also advised that a JetBlue flight arriving from New York (JFK) has been cancelled for Monday, January 26.

Passengers are being urged to contact their respective airlines directly for the latest updates, rebooking options, and travel advisories.
