Entertainer Alecia 'Lila Ike' Gray and her co-accused, Shennelle Moore, are to stand trial in September on charges of disorderly conduct, indecent language and resisting arrest, arising from an incident involving the police in 2025.

The September 14 date was sent when the two appeared before Judge Genetta Smikle in the St Catherine Parish Court on Thursday.

The trial was set for Thursday.

The charges stem from an incident along the Nelson Mandela Highway in St Catherine, where it is alleged that Gray was observed committing a breach of the Road Traffic Act while driving a motor vehicle.

It is alleged that on July 24, 2025, the police stopped a vehicle driven by the Grammy-nominated reggae artiste along the Mandela Highway in St Catherine and pointed out a road traffic breach.

Ike and Moore were told to exit the vehicle and they allegedly became boisterous.

According to the police, they were warned to desist, but allegedly continued to behave badly.

Both women were arrested and escorted to the Central Village Police Station, where they were charged
