24 rounds of ammunition seized by police in Spanish Town

Members of the St Catherine North Proactive Investigation Unit on Thursday seized 24 rounds of ammunition during an operation in the community of Waterloo in Spanish Town.
The police report that about 12:45 p.m. the PIU conducted an operation in the community in search of a man.
During the exercise, lawmen searched seven premises, including several dwelling houses.
The team later proceeded to a section of the Rio Cobre bank in the area, where a small bottle labelled "oil" was observed and retrieved.
Further checks of the container allegedly revealed 24 rounds of ammunition concealed inside.
The ammunition was seized.
No arrest was made.
