Jamaican international dancehall star Vybz Kartel and his fiancée Sidem Öztürk have announced that they are expecting their first child together.
The couple shared the news during Kartel’s performance at the Reggae Land 2026 music festival in Milton Keynes, in the United Kingdom, on Sunday.
With about 28 minutes remaining in his set, Kartel, born Adidja Palmer, invited Öztürk on stage before performing his 2009 hit song ‘Come Breed Me’.
He affectionately rubbed Öztürk baby bump, confirming the pregnancy to cheering fans as the line from the song “can you give me a baby” played in the background.
The couple has been together since 2015 after she began corresponding with him while he was incarcerated.
