Over 1,200 rounds of ammunition found at premises in St James

Lawmen assigned to the National Strategic Anti-Gang Division (NSAD) are probing the seizure of more than 1,200 rounds of ammunition in Montego Bay, St James, between Monday, August 31, and Tuesday, September 1.
Reports from NSAD are that on Monday, a team of lawmen executed a search warrant at a premises, resulting in the seizure of 644 rounds of 9mm cartridges.
The police say a day later, the team returned to the same location and, with the assistance of lawmen assigned to the Canine Division, conducted another search of the premises, during which an additional 620 9mm cartridges were seized.
No arrests were made in connection with the discovery.
