Police seeking to identity pillion killed in St Catherine crash

The police in St Catherine are seeking to identify a pillion who was killed when the motorcycle he was riding on collided with a truck in Tydixon district.
The rider was also killed in the crash.
He has since been identified as 38-year-old labourer Denval Brailsford.
The incident happened on Thursday afternoon.
The police report that about 4:50 p.m., Brailsford was driving his 2018 Zhujiang ZJ 150 motorcycle when, upon reaching a section of the roadway, there was a collision with a 2004 Toyota motor truck.
The collision caused severe injuries to the occupants of the motorcycle and extensive damage to either vehicle.
The injured were assisted to the Linstead Hospital, where Brailsford and the unidentified pillion were pronounced dead.
The driver of the Toyota motor truck has been warned for prosecution.
The Shady Grove police are investigating the matter.
