Shipping | SAJ welcomes new CMA CGM Jamaica general manager

The Shipping Association of Jamaica (SAJ) recently welcomed Clayton Charles, the new general manager of CMA CGM Jamaica, to a breakfast meeting with its management team.
The introductory engagement gave Charles an opportunity to learn more about the association’s role in representing employers and supporting the development of Jamaica’s shipping and logistics sector. It also allowed both organisations to discuss shared priorities, industry developments, and opportunities to strengthen collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
The SAJ said the meeting reflected its commitment to building strong relationships with member companies and maintaining open dialogue with leaders across the maritime community. CMA CGM is a longstanding participant in global shipping and logistics, with operations supporting Jamaica’s connections to international markets.
The association welcomed Charles to his new role and expressed confidence that the relationship between SAJ and CMA CGM Jamaica would continue to contribute positively to the industry’s growth and development in Jamaica.
