With the last teams for the round of 32 set last night, the World Cup may be just that less colourful, with some of the supporters of ousted teams adding to a truly remarkable atmosphere. 

Supporters have turned stadiums and fan zones into colourful celebrations of national pride, expressing their passion for the game through creative costumes, face paint and flags from around the globe.
