Insurance Employees Co-operative Credit Union celebrates academic excellence

The Insurance Employees Co-operative Credit Union (IECCU) proudly reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence by awarding scholarships and bursaries to the children of members who sat the 2025 Primary Exit Profile (PEP) examinations.

Each year, IECCU awards scholarships valued at J$150,000, which are disbursed in annual instalments of J$30,000 over five years – to one boy and one girl entering high school. For 2025, however, the exceptional performance of the girls resulted in two outstanding young ladies being awarded this prestigious scholarship.

IECCU encourages members to invest in their children’s future by opening Youth Savings Accounts, which not only instill the value of saving but also provide opportunities to qualify for the Credit Union’s five-year PEP Scholarship.

Through these initiatives, IECCU continues to demonstrate its dedication to empowering the next generation by supporting educational success.

Both presentations were made during the Credit Union’s Special General Meeting, where the students’ achievements were celebrated.
