Sisters charged after woman stabbed in Spanish Town dispute

Two sisters have been charged with wounding with intent after a woman was stabbed during an alleged dispute in Spanish Town, St Catherine in March.
Charged are 28-year-old Sandrene Hayden and 18-year-old Sarah Byfield, a promoter, both of Adelaide Street in Rivoli.
According to police reports, a dispute between Byfield and a woman escalated into a physical altercation on March 28 along Adelaide Street.
It is alleged that during the confrontation, Hayden intervened and used a knife to stab the woman in the upper body.
The siblings reportedly fled the scene following the incident.
The injured woman was assisted to hospital, where she was admitted for treatment.
Police say a report was made and the two accused were later arrested and charged after being positively identified during an identification procedure.
