Over 150 rounds of ammunition seized by police in Portmore

Detectives assigned to the St Catherine South Police Division have seized more than 100 rounds of ammunition during an operation at a business establishment along Dyke Road in Portmore.
Reports from the police are that about 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, a team, acting on information, carried out an operation at the location.
During a search of the premises, the lawmen discovered a total of 151 .38 rounds of ammunition concealed in a plastic bag under a bucket.
A man was taken into custody in connection with the seizure.
However, his identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
The police say investigations are ongoing.
