Couple allegedly caught with illegal gun

Police have arrested a couple reportedly found in possession of an illegal firearm in Lyssons, St Thomas.

The man and woman were nabbed along a beach around 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

Sleuths said they were acting on information.

A black nine millimetre Beretta handgun with 10 rounds was reportedly found in a black bag that was in the woman's possession.

The two have not yet been formally charged.
