The court heard that Dookhoo, who had a history of alcohol use, would become irritated when his mother confronted him about his drinking.

A 45-year-old vendor from Linstead, St Catherine, who is accused of sexually assaulting his tenant, has been granted $200,000 bail with surety.

The accused, Dwight Blake, is facing three counts of indecent assault.

Blake was granted bail when he appeared before Acting Senior Parish Court Judge Janelle Nelson-Gayle, following a successful application by his attorney, Abina Morris.

As part of his bail conditions, Blake is required to surrender his travel documents, have no contact with the complainant, and return to court on June 3.

It is alleged that on three occasions between March 10, 2026, and April 2, 2026, Blake fondled the complainant against her will.

The matter was reported to the Linstead police, prompting an investigation.

Blake was subsequently taken into custody and formally charged with indecent assault following a question-and-answer session.
