Man shot near Sangster International Airport, drives to arrival terminal before collapsing

A man who was shot while driving near Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay on Monday night drove himself onto the airport compound before collapsing inside the arrival terminal, sources have disclosed.
The Gleaner understands that the man was shot after the Subaru motorcar he was driving stopped at a traffic light.
But despite his injuries, he reportedly continued driving to the airport, where he parked the vehicle and ran into the arrivals hall crying out for help.
He was bleeding profusely before collapsing to the floor, sources revealed.
The dramatic incident unfolded as passengers arriving on a flight from the United Kingdom were making their way through the terminal.
The Gleaner understands that several arriving passengers witnessed the injured man collapse and the commotion that followed.
Cops at the airport responded and transported the wounded man to hospital.
His condition was not immediately known.
