Police probing death of 15-y-o boy in Bushy Park, St Catherine, suicide suspected

The police are investigating the death of a 15-year-old boy in Bushy Park, St Catherine, on Friday.
The police say the matter is being treated as a suspected case of suicide.
He has been identified as Joshaun Williams, who was a student at Camperdown High School in St Andrew.
The police report that about 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, the teen boy was seen removing a piece of rope from the living room of his house, which is located in the community of Vinyard Estate.
It is further reported that checks were made as to his whereabouts, but he was not seen.
The police were subsequently called to the premises.
Further checks were made and the teen boy was found hanging from a tree at the back of the house.
The scene was processed and his body removed, with a post-mortem to be conducted.
The Old Harbour Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the matter.
