Four of the six individuals listed earlier this week as wanted or persons of interest in St Elizabeth have surrendered, the police say.
The St Elizabeth police are urging the remaining two, Andre Blackwood, otherwise called ‘Squit Squit’, and a man known only as 'Fido', to report immediately to the Black River Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB).
Blackwood is wanted for assault of common law and possession of a prohibited weapon and Fido is a person of interest in the murder of Darrieo Smith on December 26 in Lacovia, the police say.
The latest two to report to the police are persons of interest: Johnoi Linton, otherwise called ‘Bad Oil’, of Peacock Heights, New Town, Black River, and Ashaune Wint, otherwise called ‘Not Nice’, of Giddy Hall, St Elizabeth, and St John’s Road, Spanish Town, St Catherine.
Earlier this week, Shane Brown, wanted in connection with the murder of Basil Bruce on January 3, and person of interest Michael McNeish, also called ‘Johnny’ or ‘Busha’, turned themselves in.
The police are asking anyone with information on the remaining individuals’ whereabouts to contact the St Elizabeth Police Division or the Black River CIB.
