Magnitude-3.1 quake felt in Kingston and St Andrew

A minor earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 was felt in sections of Kingston and St Andrew on Thursday night, according to the Earthquake Unit at the University of the West Indies, Mona.

There have been no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

The unit says the quake was recorded at about at 10:31 p.m.

It says the epicentre was located approximately five kilometres north of Stony Hill in St Andrew.
