St Catherine landscaper charged after gun allegedly found at his home

Twenty-nine-year-old landscaper Rushane Creary of Time and Patience district, Linstead in St Catherine has been charged in relation to the alleged seizure of a gun at his home on January 8,the police say.
He has also been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, following a seizure and unauthorised possession of ammunition, a police statement said.
The Spanish Town police reported that a team, armed with a warrant, carried out search at Creary's home that about 7 a.m. last Thursday.
During the search, a Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol with a magazine containing ten 9mm rounds of ammunition was allegedly found inside a room.
Creary was arrested and later charged following a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney.
He is scheduled to appear before the St Catherine Parish Court on Friday.
